TV LAND NAMES ROSE CATHERINE PINKNEY VICE PRESIDENT, DEVELOPMENT AND ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING New York, NY – March 19, 2012 – Rose Catherine Pinkney has joined TV Land as Vice President of Development and Original Programming, it was announced today by Keith Cox, Executive Vice President, Development and Original Programming, TV Land. Reporting directly to Cox, Pinkney will assist in managing TV Land’s existing original series and contribute to the development of new projects. She will be based in Los Angeles. “It is rare to find someone who has a wealth of experience with multi-camera sitcoms, a format our audience knows and loves,” states Cox. “Rose Catherine is a creative force who is well-respected by many of the writers that we are in business with, as well as the community at large. I’m so excited to have her join our team.” Pinkney is joining Cox’s original productions department alongside fellow Vice President Brad Gardner in handling strategic development of TV Land's series including: “Hot in Cleveland,” “Happily Divorced,” “Retired at 35,” and “The Exes” plus the network’s newest original sitcom “The Soul Man” starring Cedric “the Entertainer” and Niecy Nash. Additionally, Rose Catherine’s responsibilities will include bringing in new projects that enhance the existing lineup. For nearly a decade, Pinkney worked in Comedy Development for Paramount Network Television overseeing the company’s A-list roster of comedy writers and producers. In that role, Rose Catherine sold more than 30 series across all the broadcast networks including “Becker” (CBS), “Girlfriends” (UPN) and “Andy Richter Controls the Universe” (FOX). Pinkney also held the role of Executive Vice President of Programming and Production for TV ONE.
