Xtreme Rodeo 6 August 2008 Xtreme Rodeo 7 August 2008 We are Mink & Manure ~ Fashion for the Farmer’s Trophy Wife ~ and we are here to bring some glitz and glam to the farm. Think Dolly Parton meets Paris Hilton, think Las Vegas showgirl meets Annie Oakley!

The concept of Mink & Manure began almost two years ago while out chasing cattle. We were chatting and discovered a similarity in our tastes and frustrations. When shopping to find “our style”, a look that was both chic and western, we had to hit a thousand different stores. Wouldn’t it be great, we thought, to be able to go to one store and find both! And if we were the type of women who wore Chanel lip-gloss and rubber boots, there must be thousands of other women out there the same. So here we are...bringing together looks hot off the runway with those western styled items that posh farm wives can’t live without!

The idea of the “Farmer’s Trophy Wife” came about as a tongue-in-cheek way to describe our lives and those of MANY women we know. The women with the perfectly arched eyebrows hid- den under toques in -30 weather, the ones with neatly manicured nails in leather gloves helping pound posts and stretch wire. Those of us wearing designer sunglasses while mowing the lawn and whose brand-new espadrille shoes get a workout on the way home from town because 35J (that brockle-faced psycho cow) got out AGAIN!

We are located in the cute “Full of Beans” coffee shop at 400 1st Ave in Irricana, AB and we are open Thursdays and Fridays 11:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Being Farmer’s Trophy Wives ourselves, we know how busy life can be, so not only do we have a boutique near by, but also we can bring Mink & Manure to you. Constantly on the road show- ing off our line at “Trunk Shows”, rodeos, cattle shows and trade shows all across Alberta, we can bring the fabulous fun of shopping to your front door.

In the bareback riding, Texan Will Lowe and Alberta boy Russ Hallaby each rode to an 88.5. As they Chapman had travelled to Canada with Blair Burk and his family. Sumpter said, “I’m not type of deal, you have to be lucky and you gotta be good, but I mean he wouldn’t miss that calf again in sure what to do with this money, I’ve never had this kind of money before.” Bob Tallman was quick to point 100 tries.” out that there is young girl who holds Sumpters heart that could use a diamond. Travis headed into the Stampede with a great win at the Ponoka Stampede. He rode our Alberta cowboy Dean Edge who has been roping up a storm on his horse Sid.
