Lord Finkelstein OBE, is a former polician, he is currently Associate Editor of The Times, their Chief Leader Writer and a weekly polical columnist. Before joining The Times in 2001, he was adviser to both Prime Minister John Major and Conservave leader William Hague.

The Current Political Scene Daniel Finkelstein graduated from the London School of Economics, where he Government Affairs studied economics & polics. He was awarded the OBE in the 1997 honours list. The European Political Forum Between 1981 and 1990 he was a member of the SDP, becoming Chair of the UK Politics Young Social Democrats during the 1983 general elecon campaign. Before Economics working for the Conservave Party, Daniel Finkelstein was Director of the think tank the Social Market Foundaon for three years. Between 1995 and 1997 LANGUAGES: Finkelstein was Director of the Conservave Research Department. Between 1997 and 2001 he was polical adviser to the Leader of the Opposion Rt.
