D Estin a Tio N H Ig H Lig H Ts DESTINATION HIGHLIGHTS Win big. Lose yourself in Reno Tahoe. LIVE LIFE This is where the country’s largest alpine lake meets the Biggest Little City in the World. Here, ambition is fully inspired and quickly rewarded. Between the highest concentration of ski resorts in North America, America’s most beautiful lake*, and a river running through the heart of a city, there’s plenty of reward to go around. If you still don’t believe us, take a not-so-little trip through our 365-day event calendar, venture off the path into one of our stunning environments, or walk amongst our rumbling city streets. Wherever you go, we can promise you’ll find inspiration and forget inhibition. This is northern Nevada’s high desert playground and it’s yours for the taking—will you heed its call? *As voted by readers of USA TODAY To the wild and free. To the wild and free: You’ve come to the right place. When it comes to outdoor recreation, no place checks quite as many boxes as Reno Tahoe. Our 300 days of annual sunshine drench each of our jaw-droppingly unique landscapes. If secret alpine coves, lakefront ski slopes, and urban river floats aren’t your thing, rejoice. They’re only a fraction of what we have to offer. LIVE LIFE UNTAMED Drink up. Get down. Reno Tahoe’s bar and nightlife scene is anything but expected. Keep it low key at a quaint watering hole, grab a pint at a downtown brewery, then cap it off with a high ball at a pulse-pounding nightclub—all in one day. This is the “ten minutes to anywhere” town that goes all day, all night. We’re known for pushing the boundaries. So, you better believe Reno Tahoe is one of the deepest culture capitals of the West. It’s more than evident at the Nevada Museum of Art, Nevada’s only accredited art museum, at events like Sculpture Fest and Artown, and at concert halls, mural tours, and more. This place is ambitious, fearless, and most of all, hungry. Reno Tahoe brings out the avid foodie in all of us with hundreds of award-winning choices for adventure fuel. From local eateries waiting to be discovered to celebrated riverfronts serving up plenty of flavor, Reno Tahoe always satisfies. UNFILTERED Mark calendars. Erase boredom. In Reno Tahoe, we embrace spontaneity. But some events deserve a spot on the calendar in permanent ink. The Great Reno Balloon Race. Hot August Nights. Burning Man. They’re just a taste of the offbeat flare we host. Hungry for more? Check out our event lineup online at VisitRenoTahoe.com/events. Easy to visit. Hard to leave behind. The path to the top is never straight. But the flight to Reno Tahoe? That’s another story. Reno-Tahoe International Airport hosts more than 100 daily flights and dozens of nonstops from all over the nation. That means there’s no excuse for excuses. If you’d rather steer the course, we’re a short road trip from just about anywhere in the west coast. Find your own adventure by taking either Highway 395 or I-80 all the way to Reno Tahoe. (NASDAQ: ERI) (“Eldorado,” “ERI,” or “the Company”) announced today that it completed the previously announced purchase of MGM Resorts International’s (NYSE: MGM) 50 percent interest in the Silver Legacy Resort Casino Reno, as well as the assets of Circus Circus Reno, for total consideration of $72.5 million cash plus a working capital adjustment. In addition, ERI repaid the entire outstanding balance of the Silver Legacy credit facility, which amounted to approximately $52.6 million on a net debt basis. The transaction was financed with cash on hand, cash from the escrow account established at the time of the Company’s July financings and borrowings under the Company’s revolving credit facility. As a result, Eldorado has withdrawn its registration statement relating to a proposed common stock offering, the proceeds of which were intended to pay a portion of the purchase price for the Circus Circus Reno and 50% interest in the Silver Legacy joint venture. “The addition of Silver Legacy and Circus Circus Reno to our operations is consistent with our strategy to enhance shareholder value by pursuing strategically and economically attractive transactions,” said Gary Carano, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eldorado. “We are very excited to welcome the Silver Legacy and Circus Circus Reno employees to the Eldorado family at a time when the Reno gaming market and the northern Nevada economy is prospering.
