List of DirecTV channels (United States) Below is a numerical representation of the current DirecTV national channel lineup in the United States. Some channels have both east and west feeds, airing the same programming with a three-hour delay on the latter feed, creating a backup for those who missed their shows. The three-hour delay also represents the time zone difference between Eastern (UTC -5/-4) and Pacific (UTC -8/-7). All channels are the East Coast feed if not specified. High definition Most high-definition (HDTV) and foreign-language channels may require a certain satellite dish or set-top box. Additionally, the same channel number is listed for both the standard-definition (SD) channel and the high-definition (HD) channel, such as 202 for both CNN and CNN HD. DirecTV HD receivers can tune to each channel separately. This is required since programming may be different on the SD and HD versions of the channels; while at times the programming may be simulcast with the same programming on both SD and HD channels. Part time regional sports networks and out of market sports packages will be listed as ###-1. Older MPEG-2 HD receivers will no longer receive the HD programming. Special channels In addition to the channels listed below, DirecTV occasionally uses temporary channels for various purposes, such as emergency updates (e.g. Hurricane Gustav and Hurricane Ike information in September 2008, and Hurricane Irene in August 2011), and news of legislation that could affect subscribers. The News Mix channels (102 and 352) have special versions during special events such as the 2008 United States Presidential Election night coverage and during the Inauguration of Barack Obama.

Fox Networks and Cablevision Reach Agreement in Principle to Carry WNYW FOX5, WWOR My9, WTXF FOX29, FOX Deportes, FOX Business Network, and Nat Geo WILD Viewers to see Game 3 of Major League Baseball World Series and Sunday’s NFL on FOX with New York Jets against the Green Bay Packers Fox Networks and Cablevision announced today that they have reached an agreement in principle for a new distribution agreement to provide more than 3 million households with programming from WNYW FOX5 and WWOR My9 in New York, WTXF FOX29 in Philadelphia, and the cable channels FOX Deportes, FOX Business Network, and Nat Geo WILD. The signals for all stations and cable channels were restored Saturday prior to the first pitch of World Series Game 3 on FOX. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Fox Networks Group , a primary operating unit of News Corporation (NASDAQ:NWS), consists of Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX), FOX Sports Media Group, the company’s national and regional cable programming services, FOX International Channels, and Fox Networks Engineering & Operations. These units produce, program and transmit much of America’s most popular entertainment, sports and information content via 37 owned-and-operated TV networks, video on demand and other media platforms. Broadcasting Regulatory Policy CRTC 2016-29 PDF version Ottawa, 28 January 2016 Revised list of non-Canadian programming services and stations authorized for distribution – Annual compilation of amendments 1. In Broadcasting Public Notice 2006-55, the Commission announced that it would periodically issue public notices setting out revised lists of eligible satellite services, which would include references to all amendments made since the issuance of the previous public notice setting out the lists. 2. In Broadcasting Regulatory Policy 2011-399, the Commission replaced the lists of eligible satellite services with a simplified, consolidated list, which is currently known as the List of non-Canadian programming services and stations authorized for distribution (the list). The consolidated list came into effect 1 September 2011. 3. Accordingly, in Appendix 1 to this regulatory policy, the Commission sets out all amendments made to the list since the last compilation published in Broadcasting Regulatory Policy 2015-27. The non-Canadian programming services and stations authorized for distribution up to and including 20 November 2015 are set out in Appendix 2. 4. As noted in the following regulatory policies, certain services have been renamed: India Today (formerly Headlines Today Channel, see Broadcasting Regulatory Policy 2015-311); FOX Sports Racing (formerly Speed Channel, see Broadcasting Regulatory Policy 2015-189); and Gone Viral X-treme (formerly Gone Viral Blog, see Broadcasting Regulatory Policy 2015-188). 5.
