The Delta Premium range of brushes have been produced for us by one of the highest quality artists’ paintbrush manufacturers in Germany, who have been making high quality paintbrushes since the 19th century.

They come complete with an ergonomically designed hexagonal formed handle, to make painting with smaller sized brushes a pleasure. Each brush is meticulously finished – handles are stained red, lacquered and polished for a first class presentation, while the brass ferrules are nickel plated, for an attractive appearance combined with durability and resistance to corrosion.

The fibres employed are golden (i.e. synthetic) sable (cosmotop-spin) for high paint absorption and a smooth spring-like action, combined with high resistance to wear.

Over the years, we have received many requests for an ultra premium range of genuine red sable modellers’ paintbrushes.

Consequently, I am delighted to announce the launch of the latest addition to the Delta modellers’ paintbrush line – the 982 and 985 series of genuine kolinsky red sable paintbrushes.

These are produced by the same German manufacturer who produces the Delta 962 and 965 series paintbrushes, so I am sure that the quality of these brushes will speak for themselves. These brushes are ideal for fine detail work, and wherever the finest finish is desired.

They feature the popular hexagonal handles of the 962/5 series brushes, with a high gloss green/grey lacquer finish, and chrome-plated brass ferrules.

All brushes are individually bar-coded.

As we have received many requests from modellers for small size brushes, a 20/0 size round brush has been specially produced. Kolinsky red sable fibres are the noblest and most precious brush fibres available, being sourced from the winter tail hairs of the Siberian sable, ‘mustela sibirica’.
