Accipter buergersi Chestnut-shouldered Goshawk (Andrew, 1992; Beehler et al, 1986) is known as Erthrotriorchis buergersi by Collar et al and Stattersfield & Capper: Erthrotriorchis buergersi. Accipter doriae Doria's Goshawk (Andrew, 1992) is known as Megatriorchis doriae by Collar et al, Stattersfield & Capper and Beehler et al (1986): Megatriorchis doriae. Salvadori's Teal Anas waigiuensis (Andrew, 1992; Beehler et al, 1986) is called Salvadorina waigiuensis by Collar et al and Stattersfield & Capper: Salvadorina waigiuensis. Moluccan Scrubfowl Eulipoa wallacei (Andrew, 1992) is called Megapodius wallacei by Collar et al (1994) and Eulipoa wallacei by Sattersfield & Capper (2000) and Coates et al, 1997: Eulipoa wallacei. White-faced hill-partridge Arborophila orientalis is considered an endemic by Stattersfield & Capper and not by Andrew. Has recently been given species status (V.Nijman, pers.comm., 2000): endemic. Chestnut-necklaced Partridge Arborophila charltonii (Collar et al; Stattersfield & Capper; McKinnon & Phillipps) is called Tropicoperdix charltonii by Andrew (1992):Arborophila charltonii. Red-legged Crake Rallina fasciatus is called R.fasciata by McKinnon & Phillipps, Coates et al. and Walters (1997): Rallina fasciata. Andrew recognizes Rallicula: is included in Rallina by Collar et al, Stattersfield & Capper, Coates et al, Beehler et al, etc.: not recognized. Genus Hoplopterus is only recognized by Andrew (1992) and not by others: Vanellus. Pink-headed Imperial-pigeon Ducula rosacea is not considered an endemic by Stattersfield & Capper, but is by Andrew, Coates et al. and McKinnon & Phillipps: limited to islands in the Java Sea, S Sulawesi, Moluccas and Lesser Sundas: also not mentioned by King et al: however, the authority of Stattersfield and Capper has precedense: not endemic. Genera Rhopodytes, Rhinortha, Zanclostomus and Rhamphococcyx (Andrew, 1992) are included in the genus Phaenicophaeus by Stattersfield & Capper, McKinnon & Phillipps, Grimmett, Inskipp & Inskipp and Coates et al: all included in Phaenicophaeus. Short-tailed Frogmouth Batrachostomus poliolophus is considered endemic to Sumatra by Stattersfield & Capper, because Bornean population B.mixtus is raised to full species level (McKinnon & Phillipps): endemic. Genus Aerodromus (Andrew, 1992) is included in genus Collocalia by Collar et al, Stattersfield & Capper, McKinnon & Phillipps, Pizzey & Knight, Grimmett et al and Walters: Collocalia. Moluccan Swiftlet Aerodromus infuscatus (Andrew, 1992) is called Collocalia infuscata by Coates et al (1997); Mountain swiftlet A.hirundinaceus (Andrew, 1992) is called C.hirundinacea by Beehler et al; Bare-legged swiftlet A.nuditarsus (Andrew, 1992) is called C.whiteheadi by Beehler et al. and C.nuditarsus by Walters (1997): Collocalia nuditarsus. The genus Pelargopsis (Andrew; MacKinnon & Phillipps; Walters; Sibley & Monroe) is included in Halcyon by Coates et al and Grimmett et al.: Pelargopsis. Genus Todirhamphus is not recognized by Andrew (1992) or Coates et al (1997), but is by Collar et al, Stattersfield & Capper, McKinnon & Phillipps, Pizzey & Knight, Grimmett et al. and Sibley & Monroe: Todirhamphus. Yellow-billed Kingfisher Halcyon torotoro (Andrew, 1992; Beehler et al) is called Syma torotoro by Pizzey & Knight (1997); H.megarhyncha (Andrew; Beehler et al.) is alternatively known as S.megarhyncha: Sibley & Monroe: Syma. The genera Berenicornis and Rhyticeros (Andrew, 1992) are included in the genus Aceros by Collar et al., Stattersfield & Capper, Sibley & Monroe and McKinnon & Phillipps: Aceros. Helmeted Hornbill Rhinoplax vigil (Andrew, 1992) is called Buceros vigil by Collar et al., Stattersfield & Capper, Sibley & Monroe and McKinnon & Phillipps: Buceros vigil. Genus (Andrew, 1992) is called by Stattersfield & Capper, McKinnon & Phillipps and Grimmett et al.: Alophoixus. Buff-vented charlottae (Andrew, 1992) is known as olivacea by Stattersfield & Capper and McKinnon & Phillipps: H. charlottae (Finsch, 1867) is the same species as Iole olivacea (Blyth, 1844) (Sibley & Monroe, 1990)! Papuan Whipbird Androphobus viridis (DD) is considered endemic by Andrew (1992), but not by Collar et al and Stattersfield & Capper. Beehler et al: collected on three occasions: all in Irian Jaya, west of border, Sibley & Monroe: mountains of west New Guinea: not endemic: data deficient so erring on side of caution and thus following Stattersfield and Capper: not endemic. Trichastoma pyrrogenys (Andrew) is called Pellorneum pyrrogenys by McKinnon & Phillipps and Sibley & Monroe: Pellorneum. Trichastoma buettikoferi (Andrew) is called Pellorneum buettikoferi by McKinnon & Phillipps, species is unknown to Sibley & Monroe: Pellorneum. Trichastoma malaccense, T.sepiarium, T.abbotti, T.perspicillatum and T.vanderbilti are called Malacocincla malaccensis, M.sepiarium, M.abbotti, M.perspicillatum and M.vanderbilti by McKinnon & Phillipps, Collar et al., Stattersfield & Capper and Sibley & Monroe (M.perspicillata): Malacocincla. Black-banded Flycatcher Ficedula timorensis (NT) is considered endemic by Andrew, Sibley & Monroe (central Lesser Sunda islands, Timor) and Coates et al: endemic to Timor and East Lesser Sundas, but not by Collar et al and Stattersfield & Capper: not endemic, because Stattersfield & Capper are the most recent. Wetar Figbird Sphecotheres hypoleucos (Andrew, 1992) is called S.hypoleucus by Collar et al, Stattersfield & Capper and Coates et al.:S.hypoleucus. White-breasted Wood-swallow Artamus leucorynchus (Andrew) is called A.leucorhynchus by Mackinnon & Phillipps and Walters: A.leucorhynchus. Standardwing Semioptera wallacei (Andrew; Coates et al; Walters) is called S.wallacii by Collar et al. and Sibley & Monroe: S.wallacii. Malia grata and Ifrita kowaldi are incertae sedis (Sibley & Monroe, 1990).
