Prime Timers plans for June include the 3 R’s of Summer—Reading, Relaxing, and Renewing. Whether you join us for some activities (book club, baseball game, or tour of Concord) or plan activities on your own, may you have a blessed, safe summer. June Activities Take Me Out to the Ball Game Join us for the Tennessee Smokies vs the Rocket City Trash Pandas (Huntsville, AL) game on Tuesday, June 8. Tour of Farragut Museum and Town of Concord On Wednesday, June 16, Nancy T. is hosting a visit to the Farragut Museum, a treasure chest of artifacts and photographs that tell the history of the Farragut and Concord communities. One of the highlights of the museum is the Admiral David Glasgow Farragut collection. Admiral Farragut was born in this area on July 5, 1801. .Visits last about 45 minutes to an hour. Free, and donations welcomed. After the museum visit, we will take a short walking tour of the site of the community of Concord, Cemetery, and Art Gallery, followed by lunch.
