SHORT TENDER NOTICE Sealed tenders based on item / percentage rates are hereby invited on relevant MRS of Finance Department for the works mentioned below from the eligible Contractors/Firms enlisted/renewed for the year 2018-19 with Public Health Engineering Department as well as registered with Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA). Tender request should be accompanied with original copies of enlistment/up to date renewal letter, fee receipt, P.E.C License for 2018-19 and copy of N.I.C. Authority letter on pad form of the Contractor/ Firm along with registered partnership deed, attested power of Attorney on stamp paper along with prescribed tender fee. The tender/bidding documents are available and will be issued by the Divisional Head Clerk of this office upto 15-04-2019 during the office hours on production of paid 32-A Challan form of tender fee deposited in National Bank of Pakistan Mianwali as admissible under the rules. Tender rates and amounts should be filled in figures as well as in words. Tender should be signed as per general direction given in the tender documents. Tender will be received in the office of Commissioner Sargodha Division Sargodha up to 02:00 PM on the date of receiving of tenders and will be opened after 30 minutes by the Tender Committee in the presence of intending contractors or their representatives. Conditional Tenders will not be accepted. Undersigned may reject all bids or proposal at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal and shall, upon request, communicate to any bidder the grounds for its rejection of all bids or proposal but shall not be required to justify those grounds. Tenders not accompanied with 02% estimated cost/ work outlay in the shape of deposit call of schedule Bank, will not be entertained.     NIAZI TRIBE OF MIANWALI: A Cultural Study Session: 2012-14 By PARI GUL NIAZI Roll No. 10 M.Phil (Regular) Supervised by: Dr. Muhammad Akbar Malik Department of Pakistan Studies The Islamia University of Bahawalpur i Abstract Mianwali district is located in Pakistan it is one of less developed area of Pakistan. There are different casts living in Minawli but the majority living people are consisting of Niazai tribe. This is one of the strong tribes of Pathans. Their culture and language differs a lot from other people. This is never discussed in dateils at any forum. One or two articles can be found in newspapers but not a detailed thesis or book is found on this topic. This is the reason; this topic was chosen for a research work. Although the history of Mianwali district is explored and worked for many times yet the cultural aspects remained in dark. A less worked area which is never been discussed, could bring a research material to the field of Pakistan Studies and cultural anthropology. It will encourage others to explore their culture which we are forgetting and merging with the western culture. This work highlights the cultural aspects of Niazai tribe specifically. The research style is followed by the steps taken in the Cultural Anthropology of Connard Phillip Kottak. Niazai people of Mianwali are very hospitable and respect its guests. But their language contains an element of satire so the habitants of that area are used to it and reply other person in a mocking manner. It is creates humor among them.

Check List of Medicinal Flora of Tehsil Isakhel, District Mianwali-Pakistan Mushtaq Ahmad, Mir Ajab Khan, Shabana Manzoor, Muhammad Zafar And Shazia Sultana Department of Biological Sciences, Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad-Pakistan Issued 15 February 2006 ABSTRACT The research work was conducted in the selected areas of Isakhel, Mianwali. The study was focused for documentation of traditional knowledge of local people about use of native medicinal plants as ethnomedicines. The method followed for documentation of indigenous knowledge was based on questionnaire. The interviews were held in local community, to investigate local people and knowledgeable persons, who are the main user of medicinal plants. The ethnomedicinal data on 55 plant species belonging to 52 genera of 30 families were recorded during field trips from six remote villages of the area. The check list and ethnomedicinal inventory was developed alphabetically by botanical name, followed by local name, family, part used and ethnomedicinal uses. Plant specimens were collected, identified, preserved, mounted and voucher was deposited in the Department of Botany, University of Arid Agriculture Rawalpindi, for future references. INTRODUCTION District Mianwali derives its name from a local Saint, Mian Ali who had a small hamlet in the 16th century which came to be called Mianwali after his name (on the eastern bank of Indus). The area was a part of Bannu district. The district lies between the 32-10º to 33-15º, north latitudes and 71-08º to 71-57º east longitudes. The district is bounded on the north by district of NWFP and Attock district of Punjab, on the east by Kohat districts, on the south by Bhakkar district of Punjab and on the west by Lakki, Karak and Dera Ismail Khan District of NWFP again.

    ANNUAL POLICING PLAN FOR THE YEAR 2018-19 DISTRICT MIANWALI District Police Officer, Mianwali. FOREWORD District Police cannot achieve peace and maintenance of law & order without proper planning. Police order-2002 has made it incumbent upon every District Police Officer to prepare policing plan in consultation with the District Nazim and same may be got approved from the District Public Safety Commission, (DPSC), but now, Nazim and DPSC are not functioning. The District Police Mianwali has prepared the Policing Plan of District Mianwali for the year 2018-19. This plan contains analysis of crime committed during the year 2017 & 2018, resources available during the year 2017-2018 alongwith requirement. This policing plan also indicates targets to be achieved during the year 2018-2019 alongwith mechanism to achieve these targets. The total crime in the preceding couple of the years in the district remained under control. The performance of Mianwali Police in terms of providing security to the Moharram processions, prevention of terrorism, arrest of terrorists and other Law & Order situations during the preceding year remained satisfactory. More efforts will be made in the next year to improve the performance of District Police in all sphere of police working. Tender request should be accompanied with Original Enlistment Letter/up to date Renewal letter, Fee Receipt, P.E.C License for 2019-20 and copy of C.N.I.C. Authority letter on Original pad Form of the Contractor/ Firm along with registered partnership deed, attested power of Attorney on stamp paper along with prescribed tender fee. The tender/bidding documents are available and will be issued by the Divisional Head Clerk of this office upto 29-06-2020 during the office hours on production of paid 32-A Challan form of tender fee deposited in National Bank of Pakistan Mianwali paid on or before 26-06-2020. Tender rates and amounts should be filled in figures as well as in words. Tender should be signed as per general direction given in the tender documents.
