• Exploration for natural hydrogen can now occur via a PEL in SA. • Natural hydrogen may be generated in iron-rich cratons and uranium-rich basement – e.g. Gawler Craton, Curnamona and Musgrave provinces. • 50-80% hydrogen measured in 1931 by DME (photo) in gas samples from wells on Wells with Kangaroo Island (fractured Kanmantoo Gp hydrogen shows metamorphics) and Yorke Peninsula (Early Cambrian limestone). • Two PELAs lodged by Gold Hydrogen.
