Best Place to View the Race Stage four, Te piki - The climb, is the “Queen Stage” of the 2019 Grassroots Trust New Zealand Cycle Classic. The stage includes a cluster of demanding hill climbs and riders can expect to spend more than four hours in the saddle. Between the start and finish of this stage, riders will complete a total of eight hill climbs. The steepest hill climb of the Tour will feature the legendary Maungakawa Hill, which the riders will ride twice.
