Bella Wagner is a singer, songwriter and performing artist. She studied acting in "Prayner Conservatory" in Vienna where she still lives. She was born in Vienna and she is fluent in five languages. Her father originates from a Croatian island and her mother is from Slovakia. The beginning of her musical career: piano lessons when she was six years old.
Her debut album "That‘s what I like", a collection of pop and jazz classics, received a highly acclaimed presentation at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival in July 2009. With her multifaceted voice Bella Wagner impresses audience and critics alike. She has performed with various artists, nationally and internationally, was lead singer of the legendary Viennese band Hallucination Company and won the Austrian Newcomer Award 2010.
Bella Wagner is a versatile vocalist conveying her message without stilistic boundaries. She frequently teams up with musicians and DJs from all across Europe for feature projects where the artist not only appears as a vocalist she also shows her talents as lyricist and co-writer of the lead voices. Bella already released several featuring songs in various genres such as Electro, Pop, Bossa, Balkan, Rock, Funk or Fusion.
Bella Wagner´s recent cover of „Say Something“ (A Great Big World) reached # 8 on VIVA and MTV Charts (Most wanted).

PLASTIC CITY – as I call my new music project – is an artistic (and satirical) exploration of the issue of plastic pollution. Together with WERNER BOOTE, director of the int. acclaimed documentary PLASTIC PLANET, I want to raise awareness for the hazards associated with the misuse of plastic. Plastic City describes the dire situation that we and the world currently face.
GOAL my goal is to change the way people think about using plastic, to increase awareness for its hazards and to thereby help save the environment. What Sting accomplished in the 1980s for protecting our rainforests is I hope to achieve for saving us from the misuse of plastic.
