PRESENTATION BY TALIS CONSULTANTS Talis Consultants delivered a presentation providing a brief overview and major findings, recommendations and outcomes of the multi-criteria assessment of prospective regional waste sites. This presentation was based on the letters titled “Landfill Site Selection Study – Site 16 update”, dated 16/02/2017, and “Landfill Site Selection Study – Addendum following DMP Commentary”, dated 24/01/2017. The Consultants have indicated that pursuing Site 16 has a number of benefits and that, through engagement with the Department of Mines and Petroleum it should be possible to undertake a phased development of the site footprint such that it is compatible with resource extraction requirements. -
