PESONet is a new electronic fund transfer service that enables customers of participating banks, e- money issuers or mobile money operators to transfer funds in Philippine Peso currency to another customer of other participating banks, e-money issuers or mobile money operators in the Philippines. It is more inclusive platform for Electronic Fund Transfers which will make G2B(Government-to- Business) and G2C(Government-to-Consumer) payments more practical, convenient, fast, and secure. What is the purpose of PESONet? Through PESONet, businesses, government, and individuals will be able to conveniently pay or transfer funds from their account to one or multiple recipient accounts in other financial institutions. PESONet is the perfect alternative to the still widely used paper-based check system. What are the features of PESONet? What are the uses of PESONet? How does PESONet work? Customers instruct their financial institution to send credit instructions to other financial institutions via online banking, mobile banking or over-the-counter transaction. They need to provide the payees’ financial institution, account number, and amount. The credit instruction is transmitted by the financial institution to the clearing switch operator, which currently is the Philippine Clearing House Corporation (PCHC). The funds are settled in the respective financial institutions demand deposit accounts held in Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) through BSP’s Philippine Payments and Settlement System (PhilPaSS). Upon settlement, the beneficiary’s or payee’s financial institution will credit the payee's account. How long does it take to transfer funds via PESONet? (“Ajinomoto Co.”) has agreed with KASIKORNBANK PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED ("KBANK") and The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited ("SCB") to acquire all the shares of AJINOMOTO CO., (Thailand) LTD. (“Ajinomoto Thailand”), owned by KBANK and SCB, following the resolution regarding the execution of share purchase and sale agreement with THANACHART SPV2 CO., Ltd. announced on January 31 2020. Today Ajinomoto Co. has resolved to enter into a share purchase and sale agreement with KBANK and SCB, respectively. 1. Reasons for Additional Acquisition of Shares Ajinomoto Thailand, established in 1960, is a consolidated subsidiary in which Ajinomoto Co. owns an 88.52% stake. It manufactures and sells seasonings, food products and other products in Thailand. Ajinomoto Co. set out "to consider increasing net income by increasing the ratio interest of consolidated subsidiaries" in the 2017-2019 (for 2020) Medium-Term Management Plan, and set out the basic policy of "concentrating all management resources for the purpose of solving food and health issues" in the "ASV Management of the Ajinomoto Group, Vision for 2030 and Medium-Term Management Plan for 2020-2025", released on February 19, 2020. Ajinomoto Co. will focus further management resources on solving food and health issues by raising the shareholding ratio of Ajinomoto Thailand, which is the mainstay of the consumer food business. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja perusahaan melalui metode rasio keuangan. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder yang bersumber dari annual report PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk dari tahun 2017 sampai dengan 2019 serta data pedukung lainnya. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa hasil rasio keuangan menunjukan kinerja yang sangat baik dari tahun 2017 sampai dengan 2019 dan berdasarkan dari kriteria Bank Indonesia kinerja keuangan dapat dikategorikan dalam kategori sehat. Kata Kunci : Rasio Keuangan, Tingkat Kesehatan Perbankan Abstract This study is entitled Financial Statement Analysis Using the Financial Ratio Method to Assess the Banking Health of Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk in the period 2017 - 2019. This study aims to analyze the company's performance through the financial ratio method. The type of data used in this study is secondary data sourced from the annual report of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk from 2017 to 2019 as well as other supporting data. From the results of the study it was found that the results of financial ratios showed very good performance from 2017 to 2019 and based on Bank Indonesia criteria financial performance can be categorized in the healthy category. -
