My “golf career” began at the age of 12 . . . with a resounding defeat! Even though we are through the mid way point of Summer, there are still many things happening at Grand Haven. August is prime time for events! Here is what is on Tap for this month.

August is PGA month and with the success of our July “Pick” a Pro with , we are doing it again! On August 7th - 10th the PGA Championship will be held at Valhalla just outside of Louisville, Kentucky. Check with the golf shop for more details.

August 16th is Nine (9) and Dine. This is a favorite event and we are looking forward to a terrific turnout. This event will be in a scramble format with a short instructional clinic provided by Rick Bill Daggett has Knox beginning at 3:00 PM followed by golf at 3:30PM. I want to say a big “HELLO” to all the amazing members I have met so far in my short 2 ½ weeks that I have been here at Grand Haven!
