I enclose by way of service upon you Notice to Treat for the acquisition of certain rights. The notice contains a Schedule which is in two parts; Part I describes the nature of the rights required and Part II describes the land over which the rights are sought and which is shown coloured brown on the plan(s) attached. I also enclose a Form of Claim. This form should be completed and returned to The Property Acquisition Manager, Crossrail Limited, 25 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5LQ within the next 21 days. I enclose an additional form for you to retain details of the claim. Should you decide to instruct surveyors to negotiate your claim, would you please send the enclosed notice and forms to them for completion on your behalf. If you have a valid claim your proper and reasonable surveyors’ fees will be payable by the Secretary of State. I also enclose by way of service on you Notice of Entry in order that the Secretary of State may take entry onto the land or property specified in the notice. The purpose of this notice is to authorise the Secretary of State to enter the land or property for the purposes of the rights specified in Part II of the Schedule to the notice at any time after the expiration of three months from the service of this notice. They include: Exiting 90 branches out of a current branch network of 148 branches HBUS will retain a small network of physical locations in existing markets which will be repurposed into 20-25 international wealth centres Remaining branches, between 35-40, will be wound down Exiting all Personal, Advance and certain Premier banking customers (those with balances below US$75k) Exiting all retail business banking customers (small businesses with turnover of US$5m and under) As a result, HSBC Bank USA, N.A. (‘HBUS’) will reposition its US Wealth and Personal Banking business to focus on the banking and wealth management needs of globally connected affluent and high net worth clients. HBUS will exit its domestic mass market retail banking business and retail business banking (collectively the ‘Business’) through a number of divestitures, and wind-down of the residual branch network. It features a distinctive, timber latticed roof, which cantilevers out over the waters of the North Dock at both ends. Located adjacent to the HSBC tower and the residential neighbourhood of Poplar, the scheme connects two distinct neighbourhoods, providing retail amenities, shared public facilities and valuable open space. The 310m-long timber grid-shell arches over a large landscaped park, which lies at the heart of the design. The park is open from dawn till dusk and accessible from ground level via connecting bridges. The spruce beams support ETFE cladding with triangular cushions. The roof is partially open for views out and for natural irrigation, while also providing sheltered spaces so workers and residents can enjoy the park all year round. The planting includes some of the species that first entered Britain through the historic docks.
