Is your small business looking to cut utility costs and improve energy and water efficiency? Anaheim Public Utilities is here to assist you! We recently sat down with Shant Boodanian, Senior Resource Programs Specialist with Anaheim Public Utilities, to find out how.

What program can assist small businesses that are looking to implement energy and water efficiency measures?

The Small Business Energy and Water Direct Install Program helps small businesses improve energy and water efficiency, while reducing utility costs.

How does the program work?

Participation in the program is simple. First, Anaheim Public Utilities’ contractor will conduct an energy survey to identify potential areas for efficiency improvements. Second, the survey findings and recommendations will be shared with the business. Finally, the business will have the opportunity to implement no-cost energy efficiency measures through a program allowance of up to $3,000 for energy improvements and up to $500 for water improvements. A few of these efficiency improvements include HVAC tune-ups, refrigeration upgrades, LED lighting and more.
