Seth Hayden Saltzman will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Temple Beth-El. Seth is the son of Leah and Sam Saltzman, and the big brother of Scott and Kylie. He is the grandson of Ira and Judy Diskin of San Antonio, Texas and the late Harold and Susan Saltzman of Beaumont, Texas. Seth is a 7th grade student at Rawlinson Middle School. In his free time, Seth enjoys shooting hoops with his friends and playing video games. He also enjoys spending time with his brother and sister and cousins. Seth has chosen the Texas Chihuahua Rescue Network as his Mitzvah project. Seth lost his chihuahua last May and wanted to help other dogs find homes. Since volunteering, he has also adopted a new dog, Betty. Seth spends his Saturdays volunteering with the rescue helping them with their adoptions.
