F.170) http://www.itu.int/ITU-T/inr/bureaufax/index.html No. 823 – 2 ITU Operational Bulletin Approval of ITU-T Recommendations By TSB AAP-86 of 1 October 2004, it was announced that the following ITU-T Recommendation was approved, in accordance with the procedures outlined in ITU-T Recommendation A.8: – ITU-T Recommendation X.660 (22/08/2004): Information technology – Open Systems Interconnection – Procedures for the operation of OSI Registration Authorities: General procedures Assignment of Signalling Area/Network Codes (SANC) (ITU-T Recommendation Q.708 (03/99)) Note from TSB At the request of the Administrations of Slovenia and the United Kingdom, the Director of TSB has assigned the following signalling area/network codes (SANC) for use in the international part of the signalling system No. 7 network of these countries/geographical areas, in accordance with ITU-T Recommendation Q.708 (03/99): Country/geographical area or signalling network SANC Slovenia (Republic of) 5-247 United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland 4-247 ____________ SANC: Signalling Area/Network Code. Legal time changes Saint Pierre and Miquelon Communication of 29.X.2004: France Telecom, Paris, announces that legal time in Saint Pierre and Miquelon will be retarded by 60 minutes as from 31 October 2004 at 0500 hours UTC and thereby will correspond to UTC –3. Telephone Service Cyprus (country code +357) Communication of 12.X.2004: Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA), Nicosia, announces that in line with CYTA’s harmonization with the rules for numbering, published by the Commissioner of Electronic Communication and Postal Regulation, Cytamobile-Vodafone will change the “soeasy” Customer Care Numbers. ITU Operational Bulletin No. 823 – 3 The new numbers, which will apply from 15 October 2004, are presented in the table below: Existing “soeasy” numbers New “soeasy” numbers 1481 1881 1482 1882 1483 1883 Traffic terminating to these service codes will be settled with CYTA’s terminal share(s) agreed for fixed traffic termination in Cyprus and will count towards fixed traffic volume commitments, if any. For a duration of one month, from 15 October up to 15 November 2004, the new numbers will operate in parallel with the existing numbers.
