Footnotes TOURIST saved ground chasing the pace, waited briefly off heels leaving the second turn then came out into the stretch, bid between horses in midstretch then gained the lead inside, inched clear briefly in deep stretch and held gamely under urging. TEPIN settled outside a rival chasing the pace, came out on the second turn and four wide into the stretch and closed willingly. MIDNIGHT STORM came in at the start, angled in and stalked a bit off the rail, bid outside the pacesetter leaving the second turn to take the lead into the stretch, fought back in midstretch, could not match the top pair late but held third. IRONICUS between horses early, chased outside a rival, came three wide into the stretch, angled out some in midstretch and was edged for the show. MISS TEMPLE CITY stalked a bit off the rail then outside a rival, bid three deep into the stretch, battled outside in midstretch and was outfinished. LIMATO (IRE) angled in and chased outside a rival, went three deep leaving the second turn and four wide into the stretch and could not quite summon the needed late kick. RING WEEKEND broke a bit slowly and steadied when crowded, angled in and saved ground chasing the pace, split rivals in the stretch and lacked the needed rally. COUGAR MOUNTAIN (IRE) angled in and chased outside a rival, came out on the second turn and four wide into the stretch and could not summon the necessary response. HIT IT A BOMB forced in at the start, angled in and chased alongside a rival, came out in the stretch and could not generate the necessary late rally. ALICE SPRINGS (IRE) saved ground chasing the pace, came out into the stretch and was not a threat. SPECTRE (FR) hesitated then walked out of the gate to be away behind the field, saved ground off the pace, steadied off heels into the second turn and did not rally. DUTCH CONNECTION (GB) between horses early, chased three deep, came four wide into the stretch and also lacked a rally. PHOTO CALL (IRE) angled in and saved ground chasing the pace, came out into the stretch and weakened. WHAT A VIEW was sent to the front early, set the pace inside, battled along the rail leaving the second turn and in upper stretch, steadied while rivals went past in midstretch and weakened.
