What is STUNT to OBU?
“STUNT at OBU gives cheerleaders a chance to be considered a sport. The sport has given me opportunities I’ve never had and has grew my love for cheerleading. Being a part of starting this program is something I’ll always cherish. I can’t wait to see where Coach Stiles takes this team in the future and I’m so happy to know I had a little part of that success.” -Kamryn Bartley
Competitive cheerleading at Oklahoma Baptist University was adopted into the athletic department in the fall of 2015 under the direction of head coach Jessica Stiles. In its inaugural year as program, OBU finished top three at NCA in division 2 all-girl, was one of four teams to qualify for Division 2 STUNT College Nationals and has grown to a program of 65 spirit members.
The goal of OBU STUNT is to create opportunities for female athletes to compete.
