Beverly Hills’ Road to Preservation by Adrian Scott Fine This is the kind of story we love to share: great news about a major preservation vic- tory, especially for a city that has previously resisted putting preservation into practice. The City of Beverly Hills made history in January, when the City Council voted unanimously to adopt a new historic preserva- tion ordinance. The vote demonstrated a real commitment to the historic places that make Beverly Hills unique.
