Many committees include details of their future business on their webpages, which can be accessed at: http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/business/committees/index.htm Health and Sport Committee 12 August 2014 22nd Meeting, 2014 The Committee will meet at 9.45 am in the Robert Burns Room (CR1) 1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 3 and 4 in private and whether its consideration of NHS boards budget scrutiny draft report should be taken in private at future meetings. 2. Commonwealth Games: The Committee will take evidence from— David Grevemberg, Chief Executive, Glasgow 2014 Ltd. 3. Work programme: The Committee will consider its approach to the Health Inequalities early years inquiry. 4. Food (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider a draft Stage 1 report. Proposed future business At its next meeting, on 19 August, the Committee expects to consider a draft report on Food (Scotland) Bill and a draft report on NHS boards budget scrutiny. Education and Culture Committee 12 August 2014 20th Meeting, 2014 The Committee will meet at 10.00 am in the James Clerk Maxwell Room (CR4) 1. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will take evidence on the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (Treatment of the Convener of the School Closure Review Panels as Specified Authority) Order 2014 [draft] from— 7 Michael Russell, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, Janet Gardner, HM Inspector, and John Paterson, Divisional Solicitor, Scottish Government. 2.
