Meanwhile, Anne-Marie finds a connec- tion to a similar case in Florence as the team races to rescue the boy. Elsewhere, Dorn and Louis soon discover an unexpected link to their arch enemy Alexander Dimitrov, which puts their lives in danger.

Hickman and San are on the French- Italian border, investigating Phillip Gen- ovese, the person who injured Hickman. In Cannes, billionaire Lev Marianski’s son, Maxim, is taken hostage, his secu- rity detail and girlfriend Laure are shot and killed. Hickman and San learn of the case while visiting the police station. San remembers a similar case in Flo- rence a few months prior. At the crime scene, Hickman suggests a professional hit — the shooting victims were double tapped and the killers left with Maxim in a hurry. Maxim’s divorced parents arrive at the scene. Hickman notices Lev’s ner- vousness and gets him to admit that a kidnapping insurance policy, which covers any ransom demands, was placed on his family. Lev also admits that Maxim had a tracer microchip im- planted to get a discount on the policy. Berger traces the microchip to the local family villa. They find it, excised and bloody, sealed with a note mentioning future contact. The team sets up camp at the villa for any such contact. Vittoria is sent to Florence to check for connections between cases. Daniel gets a call from Dorn, asking why the team is investigating his contact regarding Dimitrov. Daniel realizes Lev is the contact, as the Marianksi financial records are being checked out and the abductors are Russian. Meanwhile, the kidnappers prepare Maxim for a video link to the parents and then call with their demands, 10 million euros in ten hours. Lev pleads for more time. The link is severed by an explosion at the villa.

Meanwhile, Sebastian’s career could be at risk when a secret from his past comes to light.

The explosion was contained to the house’s security room, but knocked out the power. The team meets outside with the parents. The kidnapper’s liaison mon- itors them from a nearby security cam- era and is told to call Lev Marianski. From the speaker of his phone, she men- tions having everyone’s attention. Hick- man realizes they are being watched. The team uses the local police station as a hub. The kidnappers become distrustful of each other, yet enter the next stage of the plan by putting Maxim in an airtight container with a limited supply of oxygen running into it. In Florence, Vittoria meets with the only witness from the previous similar case, an art school’s guidance counselor, Katya, who we know is the liaison. Katya cuts the meeting short and appears to be withholding information. Vittoria follows her to discover the video link between the kidnappers and the Marianskis. The two women fight and Katya is shot and killed. Daniel gives the ransom money to a motorcyclist, while McConnel follows it in a helicopter. The team watches, via the video link that Vittoria keeps active, as the kidnappers prepare to set Maxim free. However, armed gunmen arrive and kill the kidnappers. Maxim remains locked away, his oxygen tanks depleting. After the cyclist is picked up but cannot help with details, Hickman questions Maxim’s mother about the kidnapping. She confesses to it, out of hatred for Lev and overhearing Katya’s previous plot, but doesn’t know Maxim’s location. Berger uses the IP address of the kidnappers’ computer, along with images seen from the outside, to send McConnel to save Maxim just as he runs out of oxygen. Later at Hickman’s trailer, Shari tells him that Genovese has left the area, but should return. They kiss.

Outside the bank, the ICC team must work against time to figure out the real motive behind the crime and when part of the truth is revealed, Tommy must confront a secret from his past that could jeopardize his career.

Tommy requests silence at the office. He is hungover and Eva is worried that he has been partying again, and even Dorn comments on the smell as he walks by. Dorn ask Louis if the kidnapping case they worked on was at all related to Dimitrov. Dorn has just come back from Moscow. He planted a camera in a hotel room there and a team of Dimitrov’s op- eratives found it in less than a minute. Dorn is worried about how Dimitrov knew he was there. Louis schedules lunch with his wife, Rebecca, and asks Anne-Marie where Hickman is. Hickman told her that he had to run an errand. Hickman is at a bank trying to get in touch with a manager he knows. He gives a code word to a secretary to give to the manager. Looking around, Hickman notices two people acting very suspiciously. He makes a phone call to Sebastian and tells him to keep the line open. A group of people wearing animal masks burst into the bank with guns. They tell everyone to get on the ground and not to be a hero or else everyone will die. The bank robbers gather everyone’s cell phones into a duffel bag. Wolf, the leader of the robbers and wearing a wolf mask, threatens to deactivate Hickman if he becomes a problem. He steps on Hickman’s phone, which hangs up on Sebastian. Unfortunately for him, Sebastian already had a trace. He attempts to get inside the bank security cameras. The manager is found hiding in a closet with a married couple. Their application for a loan was rejected because their credit score was too low. The manager is forced to put on a vest rigged with explosives. Wolf asks

15 Crossing Lines Episode Guide the manager to change his mind about their loan. The manager says yes and is then pushed out the front door. He yells not to shoot as the bank is surrounded by police, but it won’t make a difference because Wolf detonates the bomb vest. Three of the robbers head to the vault, one of the robbers is monitoring police frequencies, and one heads upstairs. Back at the CCI headquarters, Tommy notices that one guy has a strange method of shooting but excellent aim. The team note this robbery has lasted much longer than an average robbery and their van has been taken. They may have destroyed all of the cameras and brought all those bags of equipment in to make an escape through a secret exit. The CCI team identifies the leader as a man who recently left prison. Tommy recognizes him as a drug dealer who went to jail and became an anarchist while imprisoned. Eva, Tommy, and Daniel are outside the bank talking to Police Chief Helson. They advise him to set up the mobile command post because the robber on the second floor is a sniper. The sniper sees Tommy and recognizes him. One of the robbers in the vault room breaks break through the vault floor into a sewer under the bank. The robber who was a security guard in the bank wants a larger share of the money. The other robber in the vault slits his throat with a knife, saying that’s their last offer. The pregnant woman exits the bank through the front door, holding a phone from the robbers. Eva takes the phone and gives it to Helson. Inside, Hickman believes that the robbers are not just robbing the bank because they’ve in the vault far too long. He doesn’t think the hostages will be allowed to live after seeing the robbers’ faces for so long. Tommy takes to the roof to keep an eye on the sniper. Eva overhears one of the police officers outside broadcast that there is a cop inside. The robber monitoring the police frequencies reports this to Wolf. Up on the roof, Tommy recognizes the sniper that is in the bank and later says that he didn’t find the sniper. Dorn shows up to pick up Rebecca and bring her to the Hague. Another man with Dorn is going to check their house for bugs. On a train to the Hague, Dorn tells Rebecca that he was very close to finding Dimitrov in Russia. Rebecca is distressed about having had her house bugged for who knows how long. Wolf makes the demand of six Porsches and four planes at nearby airports. He gives the police chief one hour to meet these demands or he will kill everyone in the bank starting with the cop. Wolf discovers that Hickman is the cop when the bank secretary gives him away. Wolf grabs her and throws her to the ground across from Hickman. The bank secretary has a bomb vest attached to her and another hostage is taped to her with a gun taped to his hand. Hickman is trying to reason with one of the robbers inside. He is trying to convince him that Wolf is trying to set him up with taking the fall for the murders and bank robbery. Louis is able to defuse the bomb attached to the secretary. Sebastian tells Louis, Eva, and Tommy that it’s not a bank robbery. One of the robbers, identified with the surveillance footage, has a husband in prison on top of the old sewer system less than a mile away. Hickman appre- hends the robber inside and goes down into the sewer system to follow the rest of the robbers. The man in the prison was Wolf’s cellmate back when they were in jail together in the UK. In the sewer under the prison a bomb is detonated and the prisoner is freed. With Hickman hot on their trails, he comes to a fork in the tunnel. He takes a different direction but through another side tunnel he can see the criminals escaping. He holds up his cell phone to attempt to signal Sebastian. Sebastian sees that Hickman has stopped and takes it as a signal. Eva and Tommy were already heading to the prison so they change direction and head for Hickman’s location. As one of the robbers exits the sewers through a manhole, Eva is there to arrest him. When Wolf hears her voice he shouts that everyone is on their own and to run. Tommy is able to stop the rest of them but Wolf gets away. Wolf crosses Hickman’s path and tries to pull his gun on him. Hickman shoots the gun out of his hand, telling Tommy after that he was aiming for his head. A police officer radios in that they have five in custody. A response comes back saying they thought there were six. Eva notices a man walking away and asks Tommy if that man was one of the six. Tommy says no but it is the sniper that he saw from the roof. Louis asks Hickman about his drug problem but he says it’s just for his hand, the pills didn’t work. With an officer shooting up, Dorn is worried about his reputation. Three bugs were found in Louis’ home, they will be left there to deliver Dimitrov any information they want. Tommy decides not to go out with the team and Eva congratulates him. Tommy makes a phone call. He tells the person on the other line that he saw Colin today and wants to speak to him. It tuns out

Tommy warns his brother, that the next time he sees him at a crime scene he won’t let him go free. In Italy a sleeping man is woken up by two armed robbers. He is forced at gunpoint to open a locked door. Behind the door are crates of drugs and money. When the two robbers see armed men running toward the building, they make a break for it. They hijack a car and kid- nap the woman inside. The leader of the armed men makes a phone call and reveals that his name is Giancarlo. He then executes the man who fell asleep and let the burglars in. Giancarlo and his men catch up with one of the thieves in a marketplace. Shots are fired but the thief gets away. Hickman visits the bank manager, Annika, from his last bank robbery case, at her home. She asks him if he is visiting because she revealed him as a cop or because she gave a statement that said Hickman was using drugs. She says Hickman’s boss was very insistent on getting the statement. He isn’t here for either of those reasons though. She reported $100,000 missing from the vault, and says that the Irish kid took it. Hickman requests that Annika close the bank account associated with the carnival. If she closes it he will leave her alone, and if she doesn’t his team will track her around the world and watch her spending.

The two robbers and the kidnapped woman make a stop at a gas station. While they are inside, Giancarlo and his men drive up and pull out their guns. Dorn meets with Rebecca for lunch, they talk about how her husband, Louis, worries about her. Rebecca tells Dorn to call Louis for her, she wants to work things out with him. Louis informs Hickman that Anne-Marie has not been heard from since earlier in the day when she was making an arrest. Hickman asks Louis who told him about his needle. Louis responds that the bank robbers and the bank manager both reported it. At the ICC headquarters, a news report tells of a mass shooting at a marketplace. The shooter is reported to be the man that was executed by Giancarlo. News of a second mass shooting at a gas station reaches Tommy’s phone. Louis meets with Rebecca to discuss the bugs that are in their apartment. Rebecca feels stuck, she has nothing now that their son is dead. She wants revenge for what the Russians did to their son. After she has this revenge, she wants to move on with their lives, she wants a divorce. In Hickman’s office, Dorn questions Hickman about his drug habit. Hickman wants Dorn to talk to the courts and allow his team to stop whoever is behind the mass killings. Tommy and Sebastian look around the crime scene at the petrol station. Tommy figures out where all the gunshots originated, while Sebastian uses a machine to scan the scene and identify a set of tire tracks. They reason that one of the cars involved is a black convertible. They note that there are not as many gunshots behind the car as should be expected. It’s almost as if the shooters were trying not to hit someone. The kidnapped girl calls her father, Conti, from a hospital. She must hang up though when one of the robbers walks near her. The kidnapped girl’s name is Angela. One of the robbers has been shot and they are operating on him. The robbers stole from Conti because he bought all of the land around town. All they have left to do is steal. Eva and Hickman meet with Conti. Outside of his warehouse they find blood on the ground, he won’t allow them inside without a permit. Meanwhile, Angela calls her father to say the robbers were just scared boys. Conti only wants his ’goods’ returned. She is upset at being referred to as goods alongside the drugs and money. Tommy and Sebastian arrive at the hospital but they are too late. Inside they only find the bodies of one of the robbers and the medical personnel. Nearby in the forest, the remaining thief commandeers a van. A man runs up with a gun pointed at the robber. Angela kills the man. Tommy and Sebastian both hear the gun shot. Angela and her kidnapper’s car is pushed off the road from behind by one of Conti’s cars. Angela wakes up from the car crash to find a man shooting at them. Giancarlo runs up to her and says that men have been dying trying to protect her family. This time she will pay for what she has done. Tommy and Sebastian arrive on the scene just in time to save Angela. Eva tries to reason with Angela about the robbery. Angela feels that the whole thing was her fault. Eva asks if Angela remembers her, they met once before. Their fathers did business together. Eva explains how when she was young her parents were murdered by Conti. She tells Angela that while you can’t change the past, you can control the future. Angela gives up her gun to Eva. Hickman checks the pulse of the robber, but it’s too late. He is already dead. Conti is arrested. Back at headquarters, Hickman compliments Sebastian on his shot. He attributes it to more luck than skill. He tells Hickman that Anne-Marie ended up capturing 8 suspects and she is fine. Hickman receives a phone call from Shari, the carnival managers are mad about their bank accounts being closed. Hickman tels her that he was behind that and to stay away from them. Shari waits for Hickman at his place. After she hangs up, someone enters the room and Shari fearfully asks ”What do you want?”

Louis tells Dorn that they are done in the house and thanks him for trying to catch Dimitrov. Back at the headquarters, Sebastian tells the rest of the team that Hickman was arrested. He says that Annika’s hair colour was different but it didn’t surprise Hickman. The team calls Daniel to tell him the news. Louis not being able to go to their apartment in Amsterdam upsets Rebecca. Rebecca and Daniel have a fight on their train. Louis tells Rebecca she can divorce him but don’t blame it on his team or his job. The dutch inspector shows Hickman some information about Hickman and Annika. She points out that Annika outed him as a cop and outed his drug addiction. She speaks of the missing money, the carnival account closure and Annika’s death. She asks what Hickman would do if there positions were switched. Hickamn says lock me up. The investigator doesn’t believe he did it though. A cop wouldn’t leave that much circumstantial evidence around and leave that bag outside of his trailer. She just needs something to tell her supervisor to convince him of Hickman’s innocence. Hickman won’t say anything though. Dorn enters a cabin in the wilderness. He pulls a gun out of a desk drawer and loads it. Dorn drives away from the cabin when a man in camouflage fires a rocket launcher at his car. His car is flipped over and two men with guns advance on him. He takes out his pistol and attaches a silencer to it. He dispatches both men and examines tattoos on their hands. He hears a helicopter as he leaves. Sebastian tries to use his crime scene scanner but it’s not working properly. It was also hacked. Back at the lab, Sebastian is frustrated when all of his work is lost. Daniel tells him to get a hold of himself. Tommy sees the body of Annika and says that the wounds are from fists. It couldn’t have been Hickman because the killer used two fists. There are gashes on the body from the killer’s ring that had the initial, G, on it. As he leaves the morgue there is a body on the next table that was burned in a car accident. It’s tag reads unidentified female. The man who was outside Hickman’s trailer talks on the phone. He is wearing a ring with a G on it and his knuckles are bruised. Tied up next to the man is Shari. Daniel tells Hickman he is free to go but he wants to know about the man with the ring. Daniel knows that the man with the ring is Genovese, the man who shot Hickman in the hand. Hickman quits when Daniel tells him that he has been watching him since he left New York. Dorn gets to a pay phone and calls Daniel to tell him it was a set up. He tells Daniel to get Rebecca and go underground. Daniel says that Rebecca has already gone back to their apartment in France. Hickman goes back to his trailer and finds a tarot card of death stuck to the wall with a knife. A note is also there that says let’s have some fun. Hickman goes into the fun house to find Genovese. Hickman wanders through the fun house while Genovese taunts him. When he catches up, Genovese punches Hickman to the ground and kicks him while he is down. The gangster handcuffs Hickman to Shari’s body and sets it up to look like a murder suicide. Daniel is back home in his French apartment and is shocked when he finds it destroyed and a puddle of blood on the floor.

Tommy receives a call from Eva about the burned car crash they suspect was Anne-Marie’s. Tommy remembers the burn victim in the morgue and rushes off to see if the body is Anne- Marie. Hickman goes with him and warns Seger to be careful watching Genovese because he is still dangerous. Sebastian laments his loss of equipment and Eva tells him that she told her old unit in Rome to do a cyber security check. Eva didn’t mean for it to affect him. Sebastian says she lied to him for months and thinks everything he has worked on is gone. Eva says that she can get it back though. She says that it was her ex partner who hacked him. They sit down to talk with each other. Dimitrov admits to bombing the house but Louis was not the target. It was Rebecca because she helped Dorn put Dimitrov’s brother in prison.
