Those days ended two years ago when the CMA created a policy prohibiting the aforementioned as "vote solicitation." Beyond the strained logic in turning down the volume on pre-awards buzz, these rules are also patently unfair and potentially cast the CMA in a bad light with many of its members. Full disclosure: Country Aircheck has staunchly opposed this policy since its inception, in large part because it hurts our business.
