National Parks

Québec has 29 national parks distributed throughout its territory,from Abitibi-Témiscamingue to the far reaches of the Gaspésie. A number are located near major urban centers. With their di erent locations, topographies, plants, and wildlife, each park possesses a unique personality and o ers an astonishing variety of landscapes and natural and historic sites.

All of the parks feature top quality equipment, infrastructures, hiking trails, and picnic areas. Nature guides o er nature discovery activities, and in most parks recreational and sporting equipment is available for rent.

The following table indicates the main outdoor activities at each park. They provide an opportunity for visitors to relax and reenergize in a protected natural environment while respecting the integrity of the local ecosystems.
