DON BOSCO Mission Office

Dear Friends, was named “Father and Teacher of Youth” by John Paul II. He had one desire – to spend his life working with the young. This was achieved by employing a simple teaching method still practiced today. The Preventive System – based on love and not punishment, with reason, religion, and loving kindness. We call this the Salesian Spirit. Today, many Missioners, Volunteers, and Cooperators practice his philosophy with the continued interest and generosity of people all over the world. May our combined efforts bring hope to those in need. After all, Saint John Bosco is waiting for us in paradise. 25864 Cal_Don Bosco ang 2014_ep1 10/8/13 3:30 PM Page 3
