National Championships Llanllwni 2021 Schedule 1 Llanllwni Mountain, Carmarthenshire Red Kite TREC are delighted to be hosting the TREC GB Championships this year and are looking forward to welcoming you all for a great weekend of competition on Llanllwni Mountain. Llanllwni is a village and community located in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The village lies along the A483 highway stretching for about 2.5 miles (4.0km) along the road to the south-west of Llanybydder. To the south of the village lies Llanllwni Mountain (Mynydd Llanllwni). More of a rolling hill than what you may imagine as a mountain, Llanllwni Mountain has plenty of history spanning as far back as the Pre-historic times. The mountain is a wild open common managed by local graziers and offers splendid views of the surrounding countryside – the Preseli Hills and the Brecon Beacons can be seen on clear days from near the summit and is open for walking, cycling and horse riding. See you all soon National Championships Llanllwni 2021 Schedule 2 TREC GB would like to thank Red Kite TREC for their assistance with organising and running the National Championships 2021. Equine Flu Requirements: TREC GB requires that organisers of any events, including training & camps, involving equines, insist that vaccinations are up to date (12-month cycle) and check passports before horses are unloaded. Horses that have had their annual vaccination or a booster, within the last six days of the event are not allowed to compete. For unvaccinated horses to be able to compete a new programme takes a minimum of 28 days. 1. The twelve-month cycle means that a horse’s vaccinations should be dated within twelve months, for each year recorded on the passport, after the initial cycle of three injections were originally completed. For example, a horse vaccinated on 15th March one year needs to be vaccinated on or before 15th March the following year. 2. Horses with several years of annual booster vaccinations can have gaps in their record provided that; a) The first two primary injections were administered correctly before 1st January 2015. (2nd injection 21-92 days after the 1st injection). b) All annual boosters since 1st January 2015 are within time. If your horse is NOT already on the TREC GB Flu vaccination register please send a copy of your horse’s passport, including the front page, ID page and vaccination pages to [email protected] before the closing date. The details will be added to the TREC GB Flu vaccination register unless you say otherwise. Health Status – TREC GB respectfully ask that if either you or your horse are unwell, exhibiting signs of a temperature, nasal discharge or any other symptoms, please do not attend the event and inform the organiser.
