The Charleston Chronicle Respect Others, Work Hard, Challenge Ourselves. www.charlestonacademy.co.uk Wednesday, 29th April, 2020 Foreword by the Editors-in-Chief: We bring this issue to you during these different times. Whilst we recognise that this past couple of months have been challenging - all of us at the Charleston Chronicle wanted to try and shine a light in the darkness and use our time to put together this edition of the paper. Mainstream media can be hard to consume nowadays, so we came to the collective decision to try and avoid writing about anything too morose. A little positivity can go a long way. In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, our sense of community spirit has never been stronger. Going outside to clap for the NHS alongside neighbours each Thursday lifts my spirits in a way that I could never foresee. We must look out for one another and help to hold each other up - strangers and acquaintances alike. At the end of this issue, you will find links and numbers directing you to a range of charities and services which can provide help to those who may be in need of it. For now, though, us here at the Charleston Chronicle thank you and hope you are well.
