Creative lASoocCttirrtirtg The Dublin Chapter of the Irish Woodturners Guild recently held an exhibition of wood- turning in the South Dublin County Council Headquarters, Tallaght. Woodturning, which is one of the oldest crafts, received a major boost when the Irish Woodturners Guild was founded in 1983. The Guild is dedicated to improving standards of design and workmanship among its professional and anmteur members and to promote an awareness and appreciation of woodturnitig among the general public. This it does by means of lectures, demonstrations, seminars and exhibitions. The Dublin Chapter was formed in 1990 and until recently held its monthly meetings in Larch Hill The chapter now holds its monthly meetings in Terenure College (on our doorstep). About 80 members regularly attend. We know there are a great many creative people out there in our community who might be interested in this ancient, beautiful craft.

With love it's the reverse. The more you give, the MORE you have! "Loving means giving" is a very old saying; the more giving we do, the more our hearts expand and the more our capacity to give develops.
