Help them locate the videos and tools on the website.

For Students

● Activity #1 - Song #42 “Down by the Bay” - Listen to the “Lyrics” video to learn the verse and melody. Echo each phrase as the song is sung until “Did you ever see a…” When you feel like you know the song, it’s time to make up your own rhyming verses! The last part of the video shows you where to fill in the blank with your own words. ● Activity #2 - Song #95 “Sing a Country Song” - Listen to the “Lyrics” video and learn the chorus to the song. Sing the chorus and clap along with the verses. Find different ways to keep the beat. Listen for the parts in the music that might be slower, faster, lower, or higher. Make up your own line or circle dance to go with the song. ● Activity #3 - “So-Me and the Monster” - Watch the video to hear a story about some higher and lower sounds, longer and shorter sounds, and louder and quieter sounds. Find the video in the menu on the left in the “Solfa Practice” section, click on the button that says “Prepare,” and then the tab that says “So-Me Movies.” This video is #10 on the list.
