Taping of Three Masses at St. Frances de Sales Church

Participating in the Taping of Three Masses at St. Francis de Sales Church in NYC was truly an experience for the freshmen and sophomores as well as the chaperones: Mr. Amendola, Religion Teacher, Dr. Mengharini, Science Teacher and Ms. Gratton, Religion Teacher.

This memorable event helped one to appreciate and not take for granted how the Mass is the sacred composition of the highest form of prayer for a Catholic; moreover, how the beauty of this prayer is enhanced by beautifully sung hymns and prayerfully read sacred readings culminating in the Word made Flesh in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

Additionally, students realized how this model of Church as Herald is not just limited to the Liturgy of the Word at Mass, but how the Church uses the social media of the day to be Senior Prom at Glen Island Harbour Club
