Nomination day Thursday 23 August 2018 Polling day Saturday 8 September 2018 Return of Writs Friday 19 October 2018. The Speaker also informed the House that the writ, issued on 17 August 2018, had been returned with a certificate endorsed by the Electoral Commissioner advising of the election of Joseph Gregory McGirr to serve as member for the electoral district of Wagga Wagga. Dr Joe McGirr was introduced, took the pledge of loyalty, signed the roll of the House and took his seat as member for the electoral district of Wagga Wagga. 13 NOTICES OF MOTIONS 14 NOTICES OF MOTIONS SOUGHT TO BE ACCORDED PRIORITY Mr David Elliott—Member for Prospect.
