When I think of The Fam- T’s Ts ily of Rotary, I don’t just think of the fellowship and camaraderie (Tom’s Thoughts) that we as Rotarians enjoy at our meetings and while working together on projects. I also think of the interaction we have with each other’s fam- ily members at special events. This is particularly true during this wonderful Holiday Season where we start by giving thanks for the many material blessings we have and finish optimistically looking forward to the expectations of the new year. One of the primary reasons people join and continue to stay in Rotary is because it is fun and informative. This comes at a very critical juncture for the polio eradication initiative. More money is desperately needed to meet the eradication goal. The Pinnacle Peak Country was in festive spirit the night of November 10, when the annual District 5510 Rotary Foundation Dinner was held. DG Tom Burns (upper left photo) manned the microphone; even the dessert (left) was served in the spirit of Rotary; PDG Norma Taylor- Roderique and former first lady Hildy Crane enjoyed the festivities; DG Tom took a moment to pose with current first lady Peggy Burns.

DG Tom Burns and PDG Barb Feder handled Foundation duties. PDG Roger and Nancy Bonngard, PDG Don and Norma Kelley, PDG Lucinda Rose, and Jim and Mary Kay Patmos enjoyed some quality fellowship.
