However, net attributable profit declined by 2.5% to RM6.4 million due to higher tax charge during the first quarter ended 31 March 2011. Consequently, earnings per share for the quarter declined marginally by 1.3% to 8.2 sen from 8.3 sen recorded in the corresponding first quarter of the previous financial year. When compared against the fourth quarter ended 31 December 2010, the Group’s revenue improved 4.8% from RM63.7 million while pre-tax profit declined 10.9% from RM9.0 million.
