• Think about the you have been designing in class and all of its incredible features. • Now it’s time to sketch that castle. • Remember when you are sketching to hold your pencil very lightly. • Try to include the features of a castle in your sketch.

Geography

• Think of your castle that you have been writing about in English so far. 1) Draw a map of your castle, which might go on a leaflet, labelling the key features. 2) Make sure you include a ‘key’ for your map. 3) Make sure you include any directions people might need to get to your castle. 4) Key features of a castle might include: moat, drawbridge, portcullis, towers, turrets, motte, fortress, bailey, arrow loops.

History

Use different sources to research as much information as you can about Windsor Castle.

These songs were often about made up places far away. Could you make up a song about a far-away made up place?

Try looking around your house for something that you could use as an instrument to play while singing!

Use the internet to find pictures of different around the world. Which is your favourite castle and why?
