Jim Sundberg Jim had a long career for a catcher in Major League Baseball. He played 16 seasons, most of them with the Texas Rangers, but also spending time in Kansas City, Chicago and Milwaukee. Jim was widely renowned as the finest defensive catcher of his era, witness his 6 American League Gold Glove Awards. He was also a 3 time All-Star and was the catcher on the 1985 World Series Champion Royals. Following his playing career, Jim spent 6 years as the color analyst for the Texas Rangers television broadcasts. Jim has now made himself into one of the top motivational speakers for corporate and non-profit organizations. His refreshing personality and warm speaking style enable him to convey valuable insights in ways people can easily understand. Using his wit and humor to blend business principles with baseball analogies, Jim proves to be a top performer. Jim has three general keynote addresses that corporations benefit from. One focuses on change, another on the winning formula, and the third on team leadership and motivation. In July of 1977, at the age of 26, in a hotel room in Toronto where the Rangers were playing, Jim accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord & Saviour.
