Basil Mathew, 40, SOM Class of 1994, of Mooresville, NC, formerly of Bluefield, husband of Tracey Lowe Mathew died August 15, 2008. He was a physician at Mooresville Internal Medicine Associates. Dr. Louis R. Molina, 52, SOM Class of 1984, of Huntington died suddenly July 16, 2009. Dr. Molina, after completing his urology residency, joined his father Dr. Rafael E. Molina and Dr Harold N. Kagan at the Hoffman Urological Clinic. He remained in private practice until July 1, 2005, when he joined Dr. Mathew University Physicians and Surgeons. He was a professor and chief of urology, Department of Surgery for the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Surviving is his wife Dawn, and their five children: Marshall University Joan C. Edwards Alexander Michael, Samantha Ann, Christopher Louis, Nicholas SCHOOL OF MEDICINE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Rafael and Matthew Douglas. Other surviving family members are his father Dr. Rafael Molina, two brothers, Drs. Manny (SOM Class of 1987) and Rafael (SOM Class of 2000) and sister Maria.
