The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, Germany, campus in Cottbus offers a position at the Chair of Radio Frequency and Microwave Techniques: Research Assistant / Postdoctoral Researcher – Microwave Electronics 3-year contract, full-time, E 13 TV-L Reference number: 41/19 The position is subject to the German law on fixed-term contracts in science (WissZeitVG). The DFG-funded research project in the field of microwave electronics deals with the modelling of GaN transistors for the design of integrated microwave circuits as well as with the required measurement technology. The work will be carried out at the BTU central campus in Cottbus and at the BTU-FBH JointLab Microwaves in Berlin. Topic: Carrying out research in the framework of the third-party funded research project "Direct determination of dispersive GaN-HEMT large signal models from nonlinear measurements". Scientific publication and presentation on conferences Preparation of contributions for reports and presentations other research-related administrative tasks The research topic is suitable for a doctorate. Requirements: Completed scientific university studies in the sense of the TV-L pay scale (Master/university diploma/equivalent) in a relevant field of study (electrical engineering or comparable); sound knowledge in the field of semiconductor or high-frequency engineering; knowledge of English; ability to work scientifically, independence, flexibility and communication skills are expected.
