MEDIA ALERT: BAM AND IFC ANNOUNCE LINEUP FOR APRIL INSTALLMENT OF COMEDY SERIES BROOKLYN & NEW YORK, NY/April 15, 2014—BAM and IFC announce the lineup for the April installment of Get It Out There: Comedy by BAM & IFC. Beginning at 9pm (bar opens at 8pm) on Thursday, April 24 in BAMcafé (30 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY) the event features Michelle Buteau (VH1’s Best Week Ever), Adrienne Iapalucci (Late Show with David Letterman), and Mike Drucker (writer for Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon). Curated by Caroline Creaghead (Creaghead & Company), the night will be hosted by Greg Johnson (named one of “The 50 Funniest People in Brooklyn” by Brooklyn Magazine). This monthly comedy showcase—free and open to the public—encourages comics to experiment with humor by testing out fresh material and probing the depths of their twisted souls for new forms of funny. Past guests have included Sarah Silverrman, Reggie Watts, Judah Friedlander, and Jon Glaser, with surprise guests droopping in at several events.
