HAD YOU STAYED IN TOUCH SINCE YOUR BAND DAYS? Yes, there’s a camaraderie with all the Westlife guys. It was brilliant to have the chance to work with Shane.

ARE YOU ENJOYING LONDON? I love it, a bit too much actually. There’s so much to do. I could go to a show tonight that a friend is in, but I have to be up for the baby. London puts these dilemmas in front of me. I lived in Orange County. It was so chilled out, but I’m enjoying here much more.

DO YOU MISS MUCH ABOUT CALI? I miss the tan I used to have! I look like Casper now!

WHAT ABOUT THE SHOPPING? It’s better here. In Los Angeles, they can tell by what you wear that you’re European. It’s laid-back there. Everyone’s in tracksuits. They have work done to their faces, then wear tracksuits! What’s the point?

WHERE DO YOU SHOP HERE? I was on Very.co.uk yesterday. I really was! I sent Polly [Nadine’s manager] a million photographs of things I want. They have everything on there.

DO YOU PREFER BUYING ONLINE? It’s brilliant because it shows up at your house and it’s like Christmas. I never know my size for shoes, so I just squeeze myself in if it’s too small or throw a couple of insoles in if they’re too big.

DO YOU NEED A NEW WARDROBE FOR LONDON WEATHER? Definitely. I haven’t been shopping in ages.

WHICH IS YOUR WEAKNESS: BAGS, SHOES OR CLOTHES? My friends tell me I have a lot of bags and shoes and say if you want a bag or shoes, go to Nadine. They must be right, but it feels normal to me.
