Sections of the oil pipeline «Uzen-Atyrau-» have been put into operation after reconstruction

During the working trip to the Atyrau Oil Pipeline Management Department, General Director of KazTransOil Dimash Dossanov acquainted himself with the planned reconstruction of the production assets and took part in the technological connection of the newly constructed lines 801-807 km and 814-824 km of the main oil pipeline «Uzen-Atyrau-Samara». As part of the construction of the linear part of the main pipeline, for the first time in , the digital method of radiographic control of welded joints, previously used only in the United States and , was successfully used. The new technology reduces the time for obtaining opinions on the quality of welded joints and makes it possible to store these results in digital media. In the works on connection of newly constructed sections of the main oil pipeline «Uzen-Atyrau-Samara» 210 employees of the Atyrau Oil Pipeline Management Department of KazTransOil JSC and 62 units of special equipment, including 6 other separate units. The works on the replacement of the pipe on sections of total length of 17 km are carried out in accordance with the Production Program of KazTransOil JSC for 2020-2024 and will ensure the reliability of operation of the main oil pipeline «Uzen- Atyrau-Samara». The oil pipeline «Atyrau - Samara» is the second largest export of Kazakh oil to the world market. Oil supply through the oil pipeline «Atyrau - Samara» and further on the system of Transneft PJSC is carried out up to the Baltic terminal Ust- Luga and the Black Sea port . In 2019, 13.3 million tons of Kazakh oil were transported on the oil pipeline «Atyrau-Samara».

It transports oil to Kazakhstan's refineries and for export in 5 directions: the Atyrau – Samara and Kazakhstan-China oil pipelines, the port of (loading oil into tankers), the railway (loading into tanks), and transshipment to the CPC system.
