The band started as a studio project by M on vocal, guitars and bass and Daren from Kriegsmaschine on drums. In 2006 Daren quit the band but Darkside, also from Kriegsmaschine, was recruited on drums. When their second album, “With Hearts Toward None”, was released in 2012, the band also started playing live with a full band. The band is now ready to return to Inferno Metal Festial. https://www.facebook.com/mglaofficial/ WITCHCRAFT Swedish psychedelic doom metal band Witchcraft was formed in 2000 by Magnus Pelander after his former band Norrsken split up. Since then the band has released five critically acclaimed full-length albums and done extended touring around the world. Now they are back at Inferno Metal Festival! https://www.facebook.com/witchcraft/ RAGNAROK Norwegian black metal band Ragnarok has released eight albums since their start in 1994. Albums like “Nattferd”, “Arising Realm” and “Diabolical Age” are regarded as classics today within the Norwegian black metal scene. Former drummer Jontho took over vocal duties in 2014 after 20 years behind the drums. The band will celebrate their 25 years anniversary together with their fans at Inferno Metal Festival 2019! https://www.facebook.com/ragnarokofficial/ AU-DESSUS Au-Dessus is a post-black metal band from Lithuania. The band was formed in 2014 and has by now two releases. The latest one is “End of Chapter” from 2017. Black metal is the foundation in their sound, but the band is not afraid to combine different kinds of musical styles in to their music. This will be Au-Dessus first concert at Norwegian soil. https://www.facebook.com/audessusabove/ ALTAR Old school death metal band Altar hails from the Netherlands and was formed all the way back in 1990. The demo tape “And God Created Satan to Blame for His Mistakes” was released in 1992, while their debut album “Youth Against Christ” came in 1994. Altar's line up have changed several time during all those years. In 2016 Janneke de Rooy from Paper Doll Decay was announced as their new vocalist. We are very proud of this position and we will continue fronting Norwegian metal and bringing bands from all over the world to Norway. 2019 will be our 19 th edition of the festival that keeps on growing. During the Inferno week there will be Inferno pre- and after- parties in the bar, black-metal breakfasts, Inferno exhibitions and a hell of a lot of special treats for our guests. The Hub boasts Oslo's best location, right next to Oslo Central Station. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and will reopen in March 2019 with 810 modern hotel rooms, 24 meeting rooms and 2 unique bars and restaurants. Si se apresuran un poco las cosas, sí se sabe qué es. por ejemplo, la religión: en ésta se deben cumplir ciertas reglas que imponen hombres con más conocimiento de! mundo y todo está listo. El resto se podría llamar administración de la religión. La religión sería, así, una forma de concebir el mundo de acuerdo con el propósito de recibir un premio si se es bueno dentro de los terrenos morales del hombre; de tai suerte, éste se puede obtener por el simple hecho de vestir bien o por compartir los buenos deseos de un futuro luminoso para la humanidad. Todos los que entran en ese juego son beneficiados de una u otra manera. No es mi intención proponer una disputa sobre qué es la religión, ni sobre si la apreciación que hago deja mucho que desear; pero, como el metal no es obra de intelectuales sino de gente que se siente fastidiada de las reglas que la sociedad impone, debo apoyarme en esa definición tan sin fundamento para llegar al punto que quiero establecer.

    Offener Brief zum geplanten Auftritt der Band »Impaled Nazarene« auf dem Party.San Open Air 2008 Liebes Party.San-Team, als lokale antifaschistische Gruppe nahmen wir letztes Jahr (2007) positiv zur Kenntnis, dass sich das Party.San Open Air energisch gegen Nazis wendet und es sogar T-Shirts zu kaufen gab, auf denen mensch klar machte, dass Nazis auf dem PSOA nichts zu suchen haben. Einige Personen aus unserer Gruppe sind selbst Besucher_Innen eures Festivals und stellten fest, dass sich die Mühe lohnte und mensch sich auch als Antifaschist_In auf dem PSOA wohlfühlen konnte. Mit Erstaunen verfolgten wir deshalb, dass auf dem Party.San Open Air 2008 die finnische Black Metal Band »Impaled Nazarene« auftreten soll, die in der Verganenheit durch homophobe, menschenverachtende, antisemitische und nationalistische Texte bzw. Aussagen in starke Kritik geraten ist und aus diesen Gründen Konzerte ihrer letztjährigen Deutschland-Tour nicht spielen konnte, da die Veranstalter_Innen darauf aufmerksam gemacht wurden und aufgrund dessen Konzerte absagten. Im Folgenden wollen wir darauf eingehen, welche Textstellen wir meinen und deutlich machen, warum wir einen Auftritt der Band auf dem PSOA für untragbar halten. In dem Song »Total War – Winter War« auf dem 1994 erschienenen Album »Suomi Finnland Perkele« wird der Krieg zwischen Finnland und der UdSSR im Winter 1939-40 zu einer Ver- teidigung »unseres Stolzes« nationalistisch überhöht (»Machine gun fire, defending our pride«). Der Zusammenklang von Vaterland und Stolz stellt einen positiven Bezug auf eine bestimmte Nation (in diesem Fall die finnische) dar, wodurch automatisch Menschen anderer Nationen ausgegrenzt und als minderweritg dargestellt werden. Desweiteren wird der Tod von über 200 000 russischen Soldat_Innen glorifiziert: »Russia beaten up, over 200 000 communists dead«.

    DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT – BIOGRAPHY DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT was born in February 2009 in Würzburg, Germany when founding fathers Nikita Kamprad (guitars, bass, songwriting, drum programming) and Tobias Jaschinsky (vocals) released the first self-titled album limited to 200 copies and using a drum machine. In January 2010 a deal with Berlin based label Viva Hate Records was inked and the band re-released the debut in May – this time featuring real drumtracks recorded by Christian Bass (Heaven Shall Burn, Night In Gales, Deadsoil among others), a new mix and the bonustrack “Ruhe”. Further the band celebrated their first live performance at Friction Fest Berlin among bands like Wolves In The Throne Room, Bohren & Der Club Of Gore, Entombed, Crippled Black Phoenix and Amenra followed by various shows all over Germany. In March 2011 the band entered Hamburg's Hammer Studios with producer Eike Freese (Negator, Dark Age, Deep Purple, Gamma Ray) to record their “Agonie” EP. With its release in July drummer Christian Bass had to leave the band due to timing and private reasons but shortly after a new permanent drummer was found in Tobias Schuler who has already replaced Christian Bass at some shows in 2010. The first big festival appearances at Summer Breeze Open Air, Barther Metal Open Air and Wolfszeit Festival followed as well as the first Austrian shows with friends Neaera. After finishing songwriting for the next record at the end of 2011 the band entered Tonstudio Würzburg in their hometown to record their next full-length.

    DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT 28. September 2017 Stuttgart Schräglage Gäste: Inter Arma, Regarde Les Hommes Tomber DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT wurde im Februar 2009 mit der Veröffentlichung des ersten selbstbetitelten Albums von Nikita Kamprad (Gitarre, Bass, Songwriting) und Tobias Jaschinsky (Gesang) in Würzburg, Deutschland gegründet. Das selbstproduzierte und -vertriebene Debüt war innerhalb weniger Wochen ausverkauft und durch die ersten Reviews und Interviews zog man die Aufmerksamkeit der Presse und verschiedener Labels auf sich. Im Januar 2010 unterschrieb die Band einen Vertrag beim Berliner Label Viva Hate Records, das kurze Zeit später das Debüt Album wiederveröffentlichte – dieses Mal nicht mit Drumcomputer, sondern mit echtem Schlagzeug, eingespielt von Christian Bass (Heaven Shall Burn), neuem Mix und dem Bonustrack “Ruhe”. Wenig später absolvierte die Band ihren ersten Auftritt im Rahmen des Friction Fests in Berlin zwischen Bands wie Bohren & Der Club Gore, Entombed, Crippled Black Phoenix und Amenra. Weitere Konzerte im Vorprogramm bekannter Szenegrößen wie Wolves In The Throne Room und The Black Dahlia Murder folgten. Im März 2011 nahm die Band ihre EP “Agonie” unter der Leitung von Eike Freese in den Hamburger Hammer Studios auf. Mit der Veröffentlichung verließ Christian Bass jedoch aus zeitlichen Gründen die Band und wurde kurze Zeit später von Tobias Schuler ersetzt, der schon bei einigen Konzerten im Vorjahr am Schlagzeug ausgeholfen hatte. Es folgten die ersten großen Festivalauftritte auf dem Summer Breeze Open Air, Barther Metal Open Air und Wolfszeit Festival sowie Supportshows für die befreundeten Neaera. Nachdem das Songwriting für das nächste Album abgeschlossen war, nahm man Ende 2011 im heimischen Tonstudio Würzburg das zweite Full-Length Album auf.
