Senior Learning Co-ordinator Location: London, Birmingham, Salford, Cardiff, Edinburgh or Belfast Department: Learning Salary: £32,000-£34,000 per annum Hours: Full time (35 hours per week) Reports to: Training Manager Direct Reports: Learning Officer (up to two members of staff) About Into Film Into Film is an education charity that puts film at the heart of children and young people’s educational, cultural and personal development. Over half of UK schools engage with our programme of film clubs, special cinema screenings, and resources and training to support classroom teaching. Alongside rich online content for young audiences, this provides 5-19 year-olds with inspiring opportunities to learn about and with film, and develop a passion for cinema. Role summary Reporting to the Training Manager, the Learning Co-ordinator is part of the Learning team within Into Film and is responsible for devising, commissioning and delivering high-quality film-focused online training, face-to-face courses for teachers and resources for use predominantly in school classroom settings and Into Film clubs. They are also a point of contact within the organisation for educational advice and input and work closely across a range of teams and specialisms, both internally and with external partners. Within this small team, they manage the Learning Officer. The specific responsibilities for this role are: • In collaboration with the Training Manager, be the senior point of contact for planning, writing, overseeing, facilitating and moderation of exciting online course content and corresponding face-to-face training modules for educators and young people. • In collaboration with the Resources Manager, plan, write, oversee, facilitate educational resources for use in the classroom, including commercial resources and materials that are educator or young person facing.
