Since 1986, the New Farm Neighbourhood Centre has provided connection and support for the local community. Located in Brunswick Street, opposite beautiful New Farm Park, we offer opportunities for people to come together around shared interests, Drop-in hours to meet and to connect with our community education program.

Our open house drop-in hours are: Our centre provides free help with health, housing and legal issues. If you are experiencing challenges Monday: 9am-1pm in life around relationships, income, employment Tuesday: 9am-1pm or your personal situation we can help with brief Wednesday: Closed intervention, navigating services and financial inclusion Thursday: 9am-1pm programs. We also offer community engagement Friday: 9am-1pm programs that can support participation and inclusion. Sat/Sun: Closed We encourage everyone to use our kitchen, laundry, shower and office facilities, and we even have our own kitchen garden.

Everybody is welcome at our neighbourhood centre. The Centre is a shared space and everyone is who visits follows our visitor guidelines which include being respectful to one other and contributing to a safe and inclusive place for all who visit.

The Patrons of New Farm is a local group of people and businesses who are committed to financially supporting our local community centre. Donations can be made in person or through our website. We also welcome donations of good quality books for our library. While we’re grateful for the offer, please understand that we can’t accept donations of clothing, furniture or household goods.
