    Thinking about solar? Between the 2019 Solar Home Tour and our next two meetings, there is much to think about and learn about. September Potluck Meeting Monday, September 16, 6:30 PM Washington Street Educational Center 512 E. Washington Street Room 112 It's the first grid-connected solar home in the Chelsea City limits! As we approach this year's Solar Home Tour (see below for more information), Brian Bieber will share with us the experience of going solar. Brian and his wife Christin had their system installed by Homeland Solar in 2017. Brian will discuss how they made the decision, the process of installation, connecting to the city's electric utility, and how the system performance has been during the first two years. Maybe he will talk about his recent time on the Chelsea Sustainability Advisory Commission, too. The Bieber home is featured in this year's solar tour. If you are thinking about solar yourself or just curious, see how a couple of "ordinary people" with kids did it. After the discussion with Brian Bieber, if we have time, we would like to talk as a group about an upcoming electric car show and topics for a new film series. Potluck meal begins at 6:30.
