The purpose of this plan is to put in place a structure that will guide the future sustainable development of Rathdrum. This plan, in conjunction with the County Development Plan, will inform and manage the future development of the town. The aim of this plan is to establish a framework for the planned, co-ordinated and sustainable development of Rathdrum, and to enhance and facilitate the balancing of economic, social and environmental infrastructure in order to maintain and develop a high quality of life without compromising the protection of the environment and the needs of future generations.
