Overview

Location. Location. Location. Two-bedroomed Villa Faralya is tucked away in the hills in the charming Turkish village of Faralya in Fethiye. The villa boasts fantastic views of the turquoise coast and Butterfly Valley below, with a soft sandy beach and some lovely walks through a lush gorge nearby. The peaceful spot is home to a myriad of butterfly species including the unique Jersey tiger butterfly.

There are plenty of chances to make a splash: there’s a private outdoor swimming pool, and Belcekiz beach and Oludeniz Nature Reserve and beach are both within a short drive. The villa is surrounded by a rustic stone wall and tall trees and plants for your utmost privacy and tranquillity. The outdoor terrace is lined with cushioned sun loungers and beautiful bougainvillaea flowers in pots. Find your prime reading spot in the shade or take a cooling dip in the clear blue waters. By night, lanterns built into the wall come alight you can enjoy the peaceful ambience well into the evening.

Inside, the décor is modern and stylish with light grey walls and natural- coloured furnishings. There are two spacious bathrooms with sleek stainless steel fittings and marble and grey tiles, and large mirrors and fluffy towels add the homely finishing touches. The villa also has a welcoming open-plan living, kitchen and dining room with comfortable seating, a dining table and everything you need for cooking including an oven and microwave. Dine indoors or on the shaded al fresco table, both allowing you to take in the magical views. There’s also a barbeque and outdoor seating area.

Whether you want to work up a sweat in the villa’s fitness centre, laze by the pool with your holiday read or explore the local area, Villa Faralya has you covered. The villa is a short drive from sandy beaches, historic sites and beautiful walking trails, as well as shops, restaurants and local markets.

Villa Faralya is tucked away on the Seven Capes coast in Faralya. The sleepy village is about 12km from the popular resort of Oludeniz and 25km from the vibrant port city of Fethiye. Faralya is known for its beautiful location overlooking Butterfly Valley, with a sandy beach and some lovely walks through a lush gorge. See if you can spot the two waterfalls that are nestled between the trees.

The villa is close to parts of the Lycian Way, widely regarded as one of the world's greatest trails. Whether you’re a casual walker or a serious trekker, you can walk through the towering pine forests and olive groves, across flower- filled fields, and past shepherd's huts, then unwind in simple, scenic accommodation along the coast. The trail stops off at interesting sites like Kayaköy ghost village. You could also go to the ancient site of where Lycian and Roman ruins intermingle with mountain village life, and you’ll enjoy breath-taking views over valley.

For relaxing afternoons spent by the beach, Oludeniz Blue Lagoon is about 7km away. The nature reserve and beach have sparkling waters that are calm and clear – perfect for swimming and snorkelling. You’ll also find canoes and pedaloes on the waterfront, and plenty of cafés serving drinks and snacks. You could also head to sandy Belcekiz beach with an impressive backdrop of the Bagadag mountains. It’s a short 6.5km drive from Villa Faralya.

Fethiye town is also well worth a visit for a taste of traditional . If you head to the old quarter, you can explore the cobbled streets, mosques and the jumble of shops selling locally-crafted ceramics, jewellery, leather goods and carpets. Relax over a drink or traditional cuisine at the marina, overlooking the glittering yachts or treat yourself at one of the Turkish baths.

Brilliant location in a rural setting surrounded by beautiful nature. The villa is sitting pretty in the hillside and is on a slight incline so shoes with a good grip could be useful. Butterfly Valley with its soft sandy beach, gorge walks with waterfalls and The location of the villa means that a car is a necessity to reach local attractions and the nearest beaches in Oludeniz. Faralya diverse butterfly species is definitely worth a visit and is only 1.2km from your is a beautiful area, enhanced by it's clifftop position. The approaching road can be difficult for even the most experienced front door. driver, especially in the dark. We'd say a car is essential but recommend booking a transfer from the airport and having the car delivered to the villa
