The Rochester Sentinel 1975 Thursday, January 2, 1975 James Shimer Memorial services will be conducrted at 10_30 a.m. Saturday in the Sheetz funeral home in Akron for James H. SHIMER, 63, Poerland, Ore., who died Dec. 25 at his residence. The Rev. Claude FAWNS will officiate. Cremation was in Portland, Ore. A former Akron resident, Mr. Shimer was born July 29, 1911 in Allen county to Earl and Faye MURPHY SHIMER. His marriage was July 1, 1931 in Cleveland, O., to Esther BUTTS. She survives. He was a graduate of the Akron high school and International Business college in Fort Wayne. Also surviving are two sons, Paul [SHIMER], of Eugene, Ore., and Phil [SHIMER], Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Earl SHIMER, Akron; one sister, Mrs. Ralph SHOEMAKER, Argos. Murlen E. Zellers Murlen E. ZELLERS, 78, 1218 Jackson boulevard, died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn hospital. He had been ill one month. He was born Oct. 24, 1896 in Kewanna to James and Norma ZELLERS. His marriage was Aug. 31, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nev., to Ina C. CAMPBELL. She survives. A retired farmer, he had lived his entire life in Fulton county. He was a former member of the Rochester Township Advisory Board and a former Fulton County Commissioner. He was a member of the Rochester Elks, Moose and Eagles lodges and the Lions club. He also was a member of the VFW Fathers’ Auxiliary. Also surviving are three sons, Fred [ZELLERS], Rochester; Louis [ZELLERS[, of Camas, Wash., and Phillip [ZELLERS], of Woodbridge, Va.; two daughters, Mrs.
