The Church of the Eucharistic Adoration Guidelines

“Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10

Eucharistic Adoration Coordinator

The Eucharistic Adoration Coordinator oversees the organization and operation of adoration. He/she ensures that there is at least one adorer present in the Church at all times and is also responsible for communicating information to the Prayer Teams. The Eucharistic Adoration Coordinator maintains the master list of the adorers on line and assists with recruitment of additional adorers when necessary.

Prayer Teams

A Prayer Team is made up of all the adorers who have the same hour on Tuesday and is comprised of a minimum of two people. A married couple, however, will count as one Prayer Team. We need 11 Prayer Teams in all—one for each hour. Adoration will begin at 8 am and conclude with a 7:00 pm .

What do you do if you cannot make your scheduled hour of adoration?

First, call your prayer team partner to see if he/she is going to be there (see below on how to obtain this information). Ifyour prayer team partner is available, then there is nothing further to do. However, if your prayer team partner is also not available then:

 Call a friend or relative to attend Adoration for you  Call one of the substitutes listed on the Adoration Schedule

If none of the above can fill your hour, then call the Eucharistic Adoration Coordinator and tell him/her that you need help in getting a substitute. Do not wait to the last minute. Do NOTcall the Office.
